Meet Eric
My name is Eric Robertson, I am 19 years old and this will be my third season playing Bass Guitar for Music City Mystique. I found my start with indoor percussion in 2009 with the high school I attended. For two years I played in the front ensemble there during my sophomore and junior year. During my senior year in 2011, my high school line folded. I then made the decision to come audition for Music City Mystique. I have been a member since then. After my first year with Music City Mystique, I moved to the Knoxville area to attend the University of Tennessee where I am an Electrical Engineering major.
Over these past few years with Music City Mystique, my life has completely changed. I do not see myself anywhere else and would not want to be anywhere else. There is something mysterious about this group when I first joined, because it is more than just a percussion ensemble. It is a family. The atmosphere and vibe here is the strongest that I have ever experienced in all my musical endeavors. Everyone strives to be the best, in both musicianship and performance.
Every member is so passionate about how they perform and approach the show. I know that as I am giving it my all, so is everyone else, on and off the floor. It is in this passion for music and performing that I have found a group that I can trust and call a family.
