Daniel Brown

Graphic Designer / Media Consultant

Daniel joins the staff of Music City Mystique this year in a full-time position as graphic designer and media consultant.

Daniel has been an avid fan of Mystique since the 2001 championship season when he first saw their production of "Gladiator." Even as an impressionable high-schooler, Daniel strove to be a part of the renowned organization. Eager to be a part of what he experienced three years earlier, Daniel joined the Mystique bass drum line in 2004. He went on to march in 2006 and aged-out in 2007, with his trademark long hair in tow - earning 2 World Championships in the process.

While marching with Mystique, Daniel studied Advertising and Graphic Design at the University of Alabama. There he was a member of the drumline for the University's "Million Dollar Band", marching in the snareline. During his senior year at Alabama, Daniel stepped into a teaching position and instructed the "Million Dollar Band" bass line.

After aging out, Daniel became an integral part of not only Mystique's web presence and merchandising, but also the productions themselves. In 2008, Daniel designed the "comic book panel" backdrops featured so prominently in Mystique's production of "The Adventures of..." He has continued to work with Mystique on logo designs, t-shirts, and other promotional materials each year. In 2010, Daniel re-launched Mystique's website with a complete overhaul and produced pre-season marketing materials for the 2011 production, "Mantra."

Daniel has since cut his hair and settled down back home in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently, Daniel is a Graphic Designer for Mapex Drums, responsible for developing all things advertising. When not involved with Mystique, Daniel can be found on the dance floor or on the ice with his league-champion ice hockey team - Team Machine.
